An important part of the inspection of a new vessel is to familiarize ourselves with the sail handling and mechanical systems. The following checklist includes fuel and water capacities, radio operations, navigation electronics, spares, emergency equipment and such mundane procedures as stove and head operation.

Generally this checklist will have been discussed with the owner before our arrival at the boat. In some cases, our crew may bring along additional items - such as charts, spare antenna, etc. Our goal is to be completely familiar with the operation of your vessel before clearing Customs and leaving port.
